If you’ve never jumped into Hello Games’ open-galaxy exploration game No Man’s Sky, there’s no time like the present. The studio is making the game free for everyone this weekend as part of its big Omega update.

The free trial lasts from Thursday, February 15 at 9 a.m. EST to Monday, February 19, 1 p.m. EST. This way, you can join in on the Omega expedition whether you have the game or not—and it won’t be restricted to any specific platform. So whether you’re playing No Man’s Sky on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, or Mac, you can try out the new content. The official site specifically says this free trial will apply only to the Omega expedition, so if you were hoping to try the rest of the game, you’ll have to buy the full game. But if you like what you see, No Man’s Sky is on sale for $29.99 until February 26. It’s also available as part of an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

The Omega expedition is No Man’s Sky’s latest limited-time co-op event, in which players complete a series of quests and goals for special rewards. These events are often a centerpiece of the game’s big updates. But the expedition isn’t the only new thing coming in the patch, as HelloGames is also bringing a fresh batch of quests, starships, loot, and quality-of-life improvements.

Outside of No Man’s Sky, Hello Games recently announced its next game called Light No Fire at the 2023 Game Awards. This time around, the studio is making a fantasy survival game instead of a retreading the science fiction backdrop. Hopefully the ramp up to launch is a bit more calm than No Man’s Sky, which was plagued with overpromising things the game wouldn’t launch with in 2016. That’s all in the past, though, and the game is in a great state these days.
